The word access is an intransitive verb, which means that it cannot be passed into a passive voice, which refers to the action of having the possibility of entering, integrating, or getting into some space, group, contingent, etc. The fact of accessing something usually has a positive meaning or connotation since it always supposes that one is benefited with the possibility of knowing, enjoying or receiving what they want. One can access a government benefit, as well as a party, a study group, a person's heart, etc.
When we talk about accessing, we are referring to that, rather suddenly, a person can have access or step into something that they were not part of before. Thus, the access or the act of accessing that is always something desired to remain so far outside of it. There are many different things that one can access, in some cases it will try to access a football group, for example, while in another case it will try to access the medical service, etc. It can also mean moving up a level in something in which one was already involved, for example accessing a better position at work.
The term access can also be used to refer to the act by which a person gives their approval or agreement regarding a certain subject. In this sense, although the term continues to maintain a meaning similar to that of the previous case, the idea of accessing in the sense of agreeing is also present. Access thus understood then can be when a person agrees to pay a certain price for a product, when he agrees to carry out an activity, when he agrees to behave in such a way due to the signing of a contract or regulation. In either case, the underlying idea is to commit to doing something simply by agreeing or doing it voluntarily. In this way, it is important to make it clear that agreeing to do something always has a sense of will and choice, unlike those things that can be done in a forced way.
