feat - definition, concept and what it is

A feat shows an important personal achievement that has been accompanied by great effort, work and sacrifice. The feats show the true capacity for self-improvement that people are capable of when exceeding our own limits and making things happen that previously seemed unthinkable. As sports watchers on television, we can observe the true feats of elite athletes that are exceeded time after time. This is the case, for example, of the Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal. Other athletes went down in history precisely for having achieved a historic feat. The cyclist Miguel Induráin won the Tour de France five consecutive times.

At other times, the feat arises from having defeated a superior rival. That is, when two tennis players face off and one of them sells to number 1 on the ATP list, he achieves the feat of succeeding in short distances against a rival with superior qualities and potential.

A historic achievement

On a historical level, the evolution that materializes over time is also closely linked to those important feats that marked a turning point in the destiny of humanity. However, the greatest feats are also supported by the sum of individual actions laden with value.

From this point of view, it should be pointed out that anonymous human beings perform heroic actions in their day-to-day lives. Some of them as important as having a positive spirit in the face of the disease.

The cinema is also a means of exposing great stories. Recently we were able to see a clear example of prowess in the cinema in the movie The Walk (The Challenge). It tells the story of Philippe Petit who has the great professional and artistic dream of being a tightrope walker. To do this, he sets himself the most difficult challenges: he wants to cross the distance between the Twin Towers in New York by balancing on a rope that connects both towers. And he successfully met this challenge.

We have all done feats

We have all done feats to the best of our ability. In other words, we have had valuable actions with which we have faced our fear in the face of a difficult challenge. What can be a feat for one person may not be for another who is already used to carrying out this type of initiative. However, true inner growth should always be measured on the basis of oneself.

The great superheroes of the cinema like Superman are a reference for their bravery and courage. A clear example of people who add many feats.
