Because by the way, we must say that many times this sense is used with a negative connotation, to talk about those people who are easy to deceive, as we have already pointed out, who do not know how to tell someone no even if they want to do so and that their characters are very weak enough to impose themselves on others.

A common behavior is for the person with these characteristics to change their way of thinking and accommodate it to that of the majority so as not to be disruptive, or avoid conflicts with others.

Of course, acting in this way will imply a very low self-esteem and a lack of own personality in the person who does it.
