The lack of continuity in some of the technical aspects mentioned is very easy for the viewer to perceive and of course it is usually a reason for criticism from specialized journalism and also from the public.

The interruption, the other side
The concept that is opposed is that of interruption, which precisely supposes the arrest of the continuity of some process in execution.
Regardless of the task or process in question, the interruption will imply a certain problem in the achievement of a goal through that procedure or task.
There are many activities, tasks, processes, that demand yes or yes, continuity in order to achieve success or victory in the objective they pursue and obviously interrupting them will generate a conflict.
Unfortunately, the success that prevails in many sectors means that sometimes things are not given enough time that they need to achieve their ends, and then, in the rush because success does not arrive, fundamental changes that affect continuity are still decided and that obviously they will end up cutting off the process started.
