A adept is the name it receives an individual who has joined a sect or an association.

It is common for followers, fans of something or someone to group together and form groups that are exclusively dedicated to worshiping or promoting everything related to their object of admiration.

On the contrary of the adept, that is to say, in the opposite path, is the adversary, who is precisely that person who will be contrary or enemy of someone or something, for example an idea.
