It is known as 'Humor' to all those experiences, sensations, representations and ways of understanding reality that have fun and happiness as their story. Humor is directly related to the ability to generate entertainment in people, which is present in most situations through laughter. Humor is considered to be a capacity possessed by all human beings regardless of the culture, the socio-economic or geographical environment in which they are inserted, although the mode of activation may not only vary from society to society, from culture to culture. but especially from individual to individual, thus becoming a highly complex and indescribable phenomenon in scientific terms.
The term humor arises from the humoral medicine developed by ancient societies in which it was established that certain elements of our body were those that allowed us to experience feelings of joy and amusement in certain situations. Humor, therefore, is not only a psychological or cultural issue, but is very intrinsically linked to physical reactions that are generated in response to certain external stimuli. These reactions are feelings and sensations that vary with each person. When it is argued that a person has a 'good sense of humor', it refers to a person who responds positively to different humorous experiences and who is carried away by the possibility of feeling fun and joy.
Humor has existed throughout all of Humanity and it is possible to find different extremely old representations in which reality was analyzed in a mocking or funny way. Furthermore, humor has been used at different times in history for political and ideological purposes. Today, humor is a very important resource in Western culture and it has great development, as well as numerous methods, styles and variants.
