The concept of show is used with extension in our language with the intention of naming that presentation or performance that takes place in a public place with the mission of entertaining, amusing, the public that the presence.

Although there are other references of the word and that we will address later in this review, the one just exposed is the most used without doubts.

In this sense, it is usual for the show to take place in a specific place and specially designed to host this show and to a considerable audience that will appreciate it, such is the case of a theater, a soccer field, an open-air venue, public spaces. two last ones that are habitually used at the behest of great rock and pop recitals and for the celebration of important sporting tournaments.

Meanwhile, and with regard to the contents of the shows they can be very varied, a play, a musical comedy, a music recital or a dance or acrobatics show, such is the case of the one offered in the circus.

And the common characteristic that the shows present is that whatever their content, it will take place mostly on a stage, which is located distant and high with respect to the stalls or space dedicated to the public.

Also, the word is used to refer to everything what is capable of awakening the attention of a significant number of people, especially when it comes to something that, due to its characteristics considered as unique, arouses astonishment and admiration. This dress is really a show I can't not buy it.

And on the other hand, the word in question has a rather negative reference, which is when it is used in ordinary language to account for that action out of place, or unpleasant, that someone unfolds and that therefore awakens in those who observe it, witness it, scandal and an unpleasant surprise. The father beat his son a tremendous beating in the middle of the street, a fact that unleashed a scandal among those who saw him.
