Social

definition of pauper

The very poor term is superlative corresponding to the word poor, therefore, it is used when you want to designate the maximum situation or degree of poverty in which a person, social group or Nation is found. For someone to present a very poor state is the same as saying that they are in extreme poverty.

The poor is that individual who does not have what is necessary to say that he lives with dignity, that is, he does not have access to the satisfaction of basic needs such as: health, education, decent housing, food, among the main factors that are taken into account when determining that condition or not.

Those who are going through a situation of this type, will of course be suffering from a very poor quality of life, especially due to poor diet and the impossibility of accessing a health plan that takes care of them when illnesses and diseases arise.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that living in conditions considered poor, or its maximum limit, extremely poor, will always mean poor hygiene, because one is more prone to coexistence with remaining garbage, which, of course, is a breeding ground for the proliferation of viruses and infections.

Among the most common causes that lead a person to poverty or a very poor state, are: low wages, lack of employment and natural disasters in which someone loses everything, their home, their job, their family.

Meanwhile, when the situation of poverty is prolonged in time, it is spoken of pauperization.
