G7 is the abbreviated name for the Group of Seven and is internationally used to designate that grouping made up precisely of seven nations that are considered the most relevant and influential in political, economic and military matters in the entire world. This is made up of Germany, Canada, the United States, Italy, Japan, France and the United Kingdom.

Although this group is informal and does not have a status that gives it formality, it is very active and interested in what is happening in the world and then, every year, it develops a summit attended by the leaders of each member country. , plus the secretaries or ministers of economy and foreign relations of each member country, and the current international political and economic states are analyzed and from them common policies and consensus are agreed on certain aspects of global interest.

We must also say that each year the G7 meeting sets the agenda and generates tremendous interest in the press that covers the summit with great expectation for the definitions that are normally produced in military, political and economic matters.
