Coming from the German concept of Blitzkrieg, which has the same meaning in Spanish, the idea of the Blitzkrieg arose at the time of World War II, in the hands of the German military who sought with this novel and effective military strategy to obtain deeper and faster results in their advance towards the conquest of much of Europe.
The notion of Blitzkrieg emerged in the 1940s thanks to Adolf Hitler's interest in making his advance and conquest over Europe effective and immediate. Thus, together with the military leaders of the Third Reich, Hitler devised a military strategy that would be characterized by the deployment of various military columns simultaneously in order to generate more irreversible and profound damage not only in enemy territories but also in all those areas. that they wish to dominate. Thus, the Blitzkrieg meant the mobilization of infantry, ships, military aircraft, tanks, and other vehicles simultaneously. This mobilization would take the form of spearheads that would advance over the different territories without leaving anything in their path.
Another characteristic element of the Blitzkrieg, and hence its name, is the idea that all those military columns had to be mobilized quickly, acting decisively and efficiently so as not to give the enemy time to respond. It was this military tactic that was used to advance and dominate Poland, perhaps one of Hitler's most important military achievements.
It is important to point out that, to favor the effect of this military strategy, Germany had an important armament development, which allowed it to establish itself as a military power, even superior to traditionally military powers such as England or France.
