definition of artificial ecosystem

Living beings live and develop in natural ecosystems, that is, they form spontaneously over time and are integrated by all living beings plus the environment in which they are inserted. In this type of ecosystem there is no human intervention with regard to their formation, that is, they do not depend on man to take shape.

It should be noted, by the way, that each living being that is born and develops in an ecosystem will be a fundamental part of it and likewise the ecosystem will be for itself, because the living being gets used to living under the characteristics and conditions of that ecosystem and then, if it were to be transferred to another, its adaptation and subsistence would certainly be complex.

Meanwhile, the sun is the basic and most important source in charge of providing energy to this ecosystem.

But as with many things that exist naturally in nature, man, making use of technological advances, has managed to copy them to obtain a benefit. Obviously you will never be able to match them but you can use them for your intended purpose.

Thus it is then that artificial ecosystems were arrived at, which are an authentic result of man's intervention in them, that is, an artificial ecosystem can never be found in nature because it is created.

The main characteristic of this type of ecosystem is that everything can be modified by the intervention of man, which generates something that of course can never happen with a natural-type ecosystem since they follow natural arrangements that no one can twist into piacere.

Let us think of a greenhouse that is dedicated to cultivation, the man will be able to introduce in it all those elements that he considers will help him in his objective, for example: programmed irrigation and fertilizers, to contribute to the development of the harvest.

And with regard to energy, in the absence of natural sun energy that its "cousins" natural ecosystems have, it is supplanted by artificial lighting, which tries to copy the role of solar radiation.
