Fair Play is a concept that is widely used in the sports field, being used to refer to that ideal behavior that should be at the request of a sports competition and that implies cordial, friendly and respectful treatment for opponents, for referees and for any other actor involved in it.
In Spanish it is called fair play, because precisely those two words refer to this concept that comes from English, in any case, its use has become so widespread that it is very common for the Anglo-Saxon concept to be used in our language.
Violence in sport, the main cause of the development of the proposal
Unfortunately, violence has been a recurring behavior in sport, especially soccer. From the rival fans that face each other in the stands of the stadiums to bloody confrontations at the exit of the same, they have often marred the party that should be celebrated in a sporting match many times around the world.
