definition of questioning

The word questioning implies the action and to the effect of questioning, meanwhile, by questioning refers to the action in which someone discusses or questions some doubtful event or fact, or special knowledge.

It should be noted that questioning is a typical human action that is closely related to two issues, the acquisition of knowledge on the one hand and on the other hand with the unmasking of what is presented as true and in reality it is not in any way .

When we question something or someone we do it through questions that seek to shed light on what does not have it and about which we want to know more, or to demonstrate their real face or appearance that of course differs from what they want to show.

Thus, when a government official sustains a certain question that certainly contradicts a part of society with his affirmations, it will not take long for questions to appear to what he said. For example, the official assured the press present that the mobilization involved a very small portion of society and that it is not even representative, questions will immediately appear, questioning his sayings: how can he say that it was not a representative protest when there were more than two hundred thousand people in the street demonstrating? ...

The questioning has been since ancient times the way from which to access knowledge and also to counteract contrary opinions, in times of the ancient Greece, for instance, Socrates, one of the most important philosophers of classical Hellenic culture proposed the Socratic method, which consisted precisely of constant inquiry in order to obtain answers, ideas, concepts, among others.

In the Socratic method, two interlocutors were usually involved, each in turn asking various questions on a topic, to obtain information or to counteract an opinion opposed to the one held.
